With deep sadness, I extend my sincerest condolence to the family of Bro. Julicar “Jojo” Lavina, Senior Demolay from Tomas L. Cabili Chapter and MSU University Club. Bro. Jojo was a constant visitor to Room 5 of Rajah Indirapatra Hall where I, Bro. Rhed Manulat, Dante Fabrero and Mario Juni used to stay. I was always at awe with his guitar skills and one time I have great fun listening to him jamming with Dad Briones ( am I correct? The anthropology professor who has earring? Hahaha 1978 pa yun may earrings na siya.)
We lost contact but I get to hear news about him from time to time thru his brother Rene…
To Bro. Rene (also a frat brother in Beta Sigma) and Bro. Christopher, Bro. Jojo is in my prayers today and I'm sure that in the high heavens, he is at finally at rest, singing and playing great music with his guitar…
